Audiovox D1020All-in-one video system10" LCD video monitor with built-in DVD player The Audiovox D1020 consists of a 10" LCD video monitor with a built-in top-loading DVD player and TV tuner. The unit can accept audio and video from an external A V source or send audio and video to another monitor or device through the switchable line input output. The supplied mounting bag cigarette lighter adapter and headphones let you use the D1020 in your vehicle. To watch the D1020 indoors simply plug it into the wall fold out the rear support and set it on any flat surface. The external speakers or headphones can be used for the sound. If you want to watch TV simply connect an antenna to the antenna input. Features 10" LCD Video Monitor: The 10" LCD video monitor has a resolution of 800 x 480 with a 60 degrees horizontal viewing angle and a 50 degrees vertical viewing angle from the top and a 60 degrees vertical viewing angle from the bottom. TV Tuner: The built-in cable-ready NTSC TV tuner allows you to receive over-the-air broadcasts when an antenna or cable signal is fed through the antenna input. DVD Player: The D1020 has a built-in top-loading DVD player that can play the following discs: DVDs audio CDs and MP3 discs. TV Display Modes: You can select one of the following TV display modes for the video output: Normal PS: When the player is connected to a normal (4:3) TV and a wide picture is shown on the full screen a portion may be cut off automatically. Normal LB: When the player is connected to a normal TV and a wide picture is shown on the screen black strips appear at the top and bottom of the screen. Wide: When the player is connected to a widescreen (16:9) TV a wide picture is shown on the full screen. TV Types: The video output can be switched between NTSC and PAL video systems depending upon the type of TV the player is connected to. Screen Saver: When enabled the DVD player will enter the Screen Saver mode after approximately 5 minutes if the same image remains on the screen. Fast Scan: The disc can be scanned in either direction at 2x 4x 8x 16x or 32x normal speed. Slow Motion: When playing a DVD you can choose one of the following slow motion speeds in either direction: 1 2 1 4 1 8 or 1 16 normal speed. Repeat Playback: When playing a DVD you can repeat the current chapter current title or entire disc. When playing an audio CD you can repeat the current track or entire disc. When playing an MP3 disc you can repeat the current track or current folder. Parental Control: This unit allows you to set playback restrictions for DVDs using Parental Control based on rating levels. You can select a rating from 0-8 which is protected by a 4-digit password. Wireless Headphones Infrared Transmitter: The D1020 features two pairs of wireless infrared headphones and an infrared transmitter that sends audio to the headphones. The headphones are powered by 2 "AAA" batteries (supplied). In addition you can plug in a pair of optional wired headphones via the 3.5mm mini-jack output. External Speakers: When using the D1020 in your home you can connect the detachable speakers for stereo sound. The mounting bag does not allow you to use the speakers in your vehicle. Note: Each speaker has flat metal connectors that slide into the side of the D1020 providing all the necessary connections. This design does not allow you to detach the speakers and use them with any other component. Cigarette Lighter Adapter FM Modulator: To provide power to the D1020 in the vehicle a 12-volt cigarette lighter adapter is provided. The adapter is equipped with a built-in FM modulator so you can play the audio signal through your vehicle s audio system. You can select the desired modulation frequency by sliding the switch on the side of the adapter. Available frequencies include: 88.1 MHz 88.3 MHz 88.5 MHz and 88.7 MHz Picture Adjustment: You can adjust the picture s contrast brightness tint sharpness and color. Mounting Bag: The supplied mounting bag and mounting straps let you mount the D1020 to the back of a single front seat or in the space between both front seats. The top mounting straps wrap around the headrests and the bottom mounting straps wrap around the seat rails. Each strap attaches to the metal rings on the back of the mounting bag. Padded Carrying Case: The padded carrying case makes the entire system portable allowing you to take the D1020 and all its accessories anywhere. Inputs and Outputs Notes Switchable A V Jacks: The D1020 features a set of stereo RCA audio jacks and a composite video jack on the left panel. These jacks can be used as an input for an external audio video component or an output to a TV or monitor. A switch located beside the jacks lets you select "Input" or "Output". Headphones: This unit is equipped with a 3.5mm headphone mini-jack output for connecting a pair of wired headphones. When headphones are connected the connected external speakers are muted. TV Antenna: A 75-ohm coaxial "F" jack is provided for connecting an optional TV antenna. With the remote you can choose between standard 69-channel Broadcast TV and 125-channel Cable TV (Standard cable HRC cable and IRC cable).Infrared Sensor: Along the bottom of the LCD screen the unit features a 3-3 8" wide x 3 8" high IR emitter receiver. The IR sensor receives infrared signals from the supplied remote control. Four IR emitters output the audio signal via infrared signal for the supplied wireless headphones.
